Research in archaeology, anthropology, and psychology has illuminated the meaning and value of rites, ceremonies, and rituals. In this course the student will learn about the need for rituals in funeral service. Funerals and rituals go hand in hand; they always have and hopefully always will. We will examine the DNA of the impact of death rituals on the human being.
